Beauty in small moments

Ever since she was a child, Laura has witnessed the world through a lens of quiet moments. The seemingly small interactions that create our life - in nature, among friends and family members, and animals. With her background in microbiology, she learned that many of the patterns seen at the micro level are often seen in the wider macrocosm in various ways. This has translated into creative pursuits with a focus on human connection and love, the language of the universe.

Her current focus is the upcoming launch of her podcast, Unraveled: Holistic conversations on the art of living and healing. Other projects include editing her first novel, always writing and brainstorms, as well as finishing work on her mini-documentary on Fatherhood.

In her everyday life, Laura is a mother to two small children and a consultant in the life sciences. As a recent California transplant to Sweden, she is having fun learning the Swedish language, reconnecting with nature, and forging a new path in a foreign country with her Swedish-Italian husband, two children, three dogs, and her horse.

Laura holds a Master in Science in Biotechnology from Georgetown University where she graduated at the top of her masters program, and a Bachelor in Science in Microbiology and a Minor in Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she graduated with honors. She has competed at the international level of dressage in the equestrian field, plays tennis, loves downhill skiing, and reading great stories. Her greatest passion is raising her children and embracing her role as a mother, teaching her kids to live a life with purpose and give back to this world.
