Laura’s current focus is the upcoming launch of her podcast, Threads We Carry: Stories on Resilience and Healing. Born out of a desire to stay connected with friends back in California, Threads We Carry explores life's hardest experiences influence the way we see the world, connect with others, and ultimately find meaning again
In her everyday life, Laura is a mother to two small children and a consultant in the life sciences. As a recent California transplant to Sweden, she is having fun learning the language, reconnecting with nature, and forging a new path in a foreign country with her Swedish-Italian husband, two children, three dogs, and her horse.
Laura holds a Master in Science in Biotechnology from Georgetown University where she graduated at the top of her masters program, and a Bachelor in Science in Microbiology and a Minor in Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she graduated with honors. She has competed at the international level of dressage in the equestrian field, plays tennis, loves downhill skiing, and reading great stories. Her greatest passion is raising her children and embracing her role as a mother, teaching her kids to live a life with purpose and give back to this world.
